For the launch of the Nike Mercurial Superfly we needed to exemplify its speed. Not just forward speed but equally important, stopping speed. With a first-of-its-kind molded foot plate, the Mercurial holds the players foot in place, truly making the boot an extension of the foot. The mother-of-pearl cleat created a great look in the animation and studio photos. We were honored to develop the 3D model and animation for such a legendary boot.
